John went hiking up the swift flowing little Virgin River into what they call "the narrows." You can see why.
About 90 minutes up stream was enough.
Here is a picture shooting straight up from my lunch spot...beautiful.
A little farther on the way downstream I spotted this turkey hen with her little...uhm, chicks? giblets? Well, you probably can't see them anyway.
Tomorrow we drive a couple of hours to Bryce Canyon to spend one night.

It's been interesting to start combining our photos for the blog. John has learned how to download his own stuff and even edit some of them. We go back and forth now with creating the blog.
